10 tips that will change your lazy days!

Sunday is usually most people’s lazy day? But did you know that the way you spend your Sunday can have an impact on how your week will go. Some people like to spend their Sunday with family, at the beach, cleaning or at home doing homework ….

My perfect Sunday is when I am literally in bed all day, not doing anything but, that’s not the way to spend your last day of the week. For me, Sunday is all about  taking care of myself, restoring my energy, reconnecting with my inner-self (and often doing last minute homework tbh). But here are 5 things I make sure to do and that will for sure change the way you spend your lazy Sunday.

Getting your beauty sleep is super important! Leave the waking up early for the week and try sleeping in for for a good 2 or 3 more (4 if you’re a sleeper like me).

Breakfast is my personal favorite meal of the day and I make sure to not miss it during the week. But there is nothing the famous Sunday Brunch (Breakfast + Lunch). Yes since I slept in I combine breakfast and lunch, now depending on my mood I’ll have French toasts, or pancakes, or croissants, eggs, hot chocolate (cause I’m not a coffee girl) and the whole shebang bang… Filling your stomach with the food you love (and a “lot” of it) will help you make sure you’re set for having the perfect lazy day… And because you’re lazy don’t forget to have it in bed and postpone washing the dishes for later in the day…

Try not to fall asleep in the tub!

Being lazy does not mean being dirty… It’s not because it’s Sunday that you shouldn’t wash your body. Make sure you take a long, warm shower, preferably bath… You can set the mood with essential oils, scented candles, and bath bombs. While you’re in there, try to shave whatever you need to shave 😉… A nice body scrub will help you get nice, soft and smooth skin. Don’t forget to moisturize thoroughly your body… Throw on a robe and go back to bed.

Keep your mind busy…

Nothing is better than reading on a Sunday in your PJ's with a nice cup of coffee or tea and a treat! <3

This is the real activity of the day, catch up with things you like to do but don’t have time to do during the week. Whether it is reading, catching up on your favorite tv shows,… Do something other than sleeping (again) because that will keep you from sleeping properly at night, thus messing up the beginning of your week…

At this point, the day is slowly ending, the sun is falling, sooo it’s time for a little snack… My favorite late Sunday snack is toast with Nutella, banana slices and cinnamon  😋 …

Get your beauty on !

Now is the time to take care of yourself (like you haven’t been doing just that all day). Before going to bed, I like to do a few calming beauty stuff like painting my nails and toenails. Apply a face mask and sometimes hair mask… Always making sure to keep the mood nice and relaxing, I like to have some Alternative music or classical music playing (click to try my playlist) in the background, nice scented candles filling up the room with relaxing scents. And before going to bed, a must for me is Yoga and/or ASMR, but I’ll tell you more about that another time…

Until then, take care ladies, and prepare for next Sunday,

cause it’ll be L-A-Z-Y baby!!!
